The visionary behind Penthouse is award-winning architect Andreas Martin-Löf. With extensive experience in premium residential development and a passion for crafting bespoke homes with unique interiors, he has designed concepts and interiors for projects such as Karlatornet in Gothenburg.
“There is a distinct ambition behind the design of Penthouse that makes this project truly special. The building has a strong focus on sustainability, and we were tasked with incorporating interiors that meet high standards for environmental impact, design, and comfort,” says Andreas Martin-Löf.
And for the architect, sustainability always begins with quality. In a world where trends in materials, colors, and shapes often shift at lightning speed, they rarely outlast the building’s completion date. Therefore, construction should be forward-thinking, operating on cycles distinct from fleeting societal trends.
“My goal with Penthouse and its interiors is to create an environment that stands the test of time and continues to bring joy to its residents for years to come.”
The design of Penthouse is generous down to the finest details. Every element has been carefully considered and selected with meticulous attention. From the choice of materials to the way they seamlessly blend together.
“The level of craftsmanship in this residence is unparalleled. From the plastered walls and custom millwork to the beautifully light wood floors – and even the smallest but significant details, such as the brushed stainless steel in the kitchen and the red limestone accents.”
““The environment we create should stand the test of time and bring joy to its residents for many years to come.””
The kitchen and living area flow together in an open-plan design, offering views in every direction. The warm beige plastered walls and red limestone kitchen island form a sophisticated contrast to the brushed stainless steel cabinetry. Thoughtful details, such as an integrated wine cooler and Gaggenau appliances, enhance the space’s refined aesthetic.

Each bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The master bath offers a sauna clad in cedar paneling and a freestanding bathtub. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a fully furnished walk-in closet, elegantly partitioned with a sliding door in solid warm oak.

The living room features both a gas fireplace and a custom-built TV cabinet, discreetly covered in decorative wallpaper to blend seamlessly when closed. The space comfortably accommodates both a dining table and a seating area, offering sweeping views of the kitchen, rooftop terrace, and the heights of Södermalm.
